My days

Continuation of my life coping with Bipolar Disorder

Thank you all again for taking the time in reading my blog and leaving helpful comments. I thought this blog will be about my good and bad days to inform others diagnosed with disorders you are not alone.

Good Days
  • sleeping 6 to 7 hours
  • following my schedule
  • racing and negative thoughts are minimal
  • no crying spells
  • I am not anxious
Bad days (two to three days a week)
I am still not in remission with my disorder. I saw my Psychiatrist yesterday and he increased my anti-depressant medication (Effexor)

  • sleeping over 10 hours
  • anxious (wandering around the house)
  • I don't feel like showering
  • crying spells
  • my mind is filled with negative thoughts which leads to paranoia
  • pushing self to exercise and following a schedule
On my bad days I talk out my negative thoughts to my husband. However, some days I have to work them out alone until he arrives home from work. On bad days, I push self just to get through the day and night.

hugs and strength to you all

  1. Good morning Emeila, I pray today is a good day!

  2. I hope you have a good day today. There's coming a day when there will be no more BP, cancer, sickness.

  3. Emeila, this is a wonderful piece of writing and it allows strangers to feel your day. IT is good that you push yourself to keep fit especially because it demonstrates to YOU that you CAN achieve positive thought amidst turmoil and despair.

You need to rest. and to help you, I will take on your pain and despair, and in return give you some wonderful relaxing nights of long soooooothing sleep. Warm relaxing hugs. Mart

  4. Praying for you this morning. God's blessings. Lloyd

  5. Boy, can I relate. I would say that is close to how my good days and bad days go. At least you are aware and can do what you need to help yourself. Do you ever journal? I know that can me sort out the negative feelings when hubby isn't home. If I spew all that energy onto paper it loses it's meaning and eventually I see the positive, even if it is only for a minute. Just something that works for me. Always look forward to your post. HUGS-Midnight
